ActionAid South Africa (AASA) was established in 2006 and is a member of ActionAid
International, the global federation that aims to eradicate poverty and inequality by
empowering communities to claim their rights and hold duty bearers to account. ActionAid
South Africa has long term projects in six provinces around South Africa as well as national
programmes in three focus areas, namely: 1. Women’s Rights; 2. Natural Resources, and 3.
Youth and Education.

The Advisory Board of AASA seeks to appoint Non-Executive members who have knowledge
and experience in Financial, Legal, Fundraising, Business experience and
Organizational Development. We take great pleasure in calling for applications and
nominations for suitably qualified persons to serve on our board.
